Tilting equipment for introduction of long pieces INTO THE PRESS
When production needs call for very long carbon steel or superalloy bars to be inserted into the press for moulding, that’s when the tilting mould comes in handy.
The mould in which the material to be moulded is inserted is overturned and tilted diagonally. This also allows long bars to be inserted correctly into the mould itself; the physical limitation given by the size of the screw press mould is practically eliminated, thus allowing the vertical moulding of even relatively long bars.
This accessory is widely used in the automotive bolting industry to produce, for example, axle shafts and/or valves for internal combustion engines.
