Extractors
Pneumatically or hydraulically screw presses extractor
Pneumatically or hydraulically operated lower and upper extractors for ejecting the workpiece from the mould.
FTB screw presses can be equipped with extractors
- PNEUMATIC (pushed by air cylinders), particularly suitable for extracting small moulded pieces, which require less ejection force and a faster, yet less controlled movement.
- HYDRAULIC (operation via hydraulic cylinder) for larger moulded pieces, which therefore require more ejection force and greater control.
FTB hydraulic extractors allow accurate adjustment of stroke and extraction speed.
This is very useful when the moulded piece tends to get stuck in the lower half of the mould or attached to the upper mould, on the ram.
