Screw press for machining parts in titanium alloy
This is one of the largest screw presses in the FTB range: 1,100 tons and a screw diameter of 310 mm.
These features make it one of the best screw presses for machining parts in titanium alloy, a material that requires powerful machinery to be worked.
When combined with the ER25 or ER80 upsetters, it provides an effective and complete production line for forging steel and making, for example, medium to large bolts or for the earthmoving industry (e.g. spare parts for bulldozers).
Also excellent for the hot treatment of aluminium.
