Small friction screw press.
This is the "smallest" screw press in the FTB range, with a screw diameter of 150 mm and a nominal force of 250 tons.
Its "small" size makes it particularly suitable for manufacturing small bolts or electrical power contacts.
In combination with FTB upsetters such as the ER3 and ER7, it can be integrated into a complete production line for the bolting industry.
In addition to hot forging, this screw press is also often used in cold coining.
Like every FTB screw press, it can be enhanced with specific accessories (link to section). In fact, the FTB screw presses can be custom designed to meet customer requirements.
